IISD offers a series of related courses on various aspects of community-based development designed for practitioners in the field, project directors, funders, or anyone interested in learning more about community-based development.
IISD is one of the only development training providers to offer short, non-credit courses that do not require university admission. Our courses are intensive and provide practical tools for those working in the field. IISD offers one of the most comprehensive development training programs covering 13 different subject areas within the field of sustainable community-based development.
Our online program allows you to learn from and share experiences with practitioners working in the field of community-based development in diverse places as India, Peru, the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota, and Guatemala.
IISD is currently unable to provide scholarships for our online courses. We encourage you to seek funding from your organization or home country.
