- John Bianco and Ray Schembri of the Passaic River Division visited DEC sites in North
Mississippi to observe lessons learned regarding wildlife mitigation structures in small
streams. The intent was to apply those lessons to fish mitigation structures planned for
the Pompton River, a tributary of the Passaic River. Dave Derrick and Doug Shields
provided a tour and discussed structures that could be built in the Pompton River.
