The Demonstration Erosion Control (DEC) project investigates the effectiveness of reducing erosion, sedimentation, and flooding.  DEC takes an innovative approach by considering an entire watershed, rather than only local characteristics and problems.  The results from DEC research preserve farmland and wildlife habitat, protect people from floods, and save money.  Follow the links below to learn more about the Demonstartion Erosion Control project.
