Tours:
Tours last approximately 1-1 ½ hours, beginning with a brief video explaining what ARDEC does and its history followed by a tour of both the Plant and Animal Science facilities. We invite you to come out and see the depth of our program including seed processing bays, Foundation Seed, pesticide storage areas, current crops and projects and all equipment. Time and weather permitting, hayrides can be set up to tour the facility.
Tour groups in the past have included:
- Youth/school groups
- Community organizations such as 4-H and FFA
- Private/public businesses and faculty
- International groups
- State/Federal groups
Conferences:
ARDEC has a wide variety of conference rooms to meet the needs of any group. Programs held at ARDEC must be agricultural related and must be sponsored by a faculty member within the College of Agriculture at CSU.
All rooms have tables and chairs, kitchens with microwaves and dishwashers, TV's, VCR's, projection screens, telephones, white boards, podiums and projectors.

To set up a conference or a tour, please contact our Office Assistant at (970) 491-2405. When scheduling please specify the date, time, approximate group size and any special needs you might have.
Our office hours are from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
