Tours:
Tours last approximately 1-2 hours with a tour of both the Plant and Animal Science facilities. We invite you to come out and see the depth of our program including seed processing bays, Foundation Seed, pesticide storage areas, current crops and projects, equipment, feedlot area, metabolism barn, Feed Intake Unit and a Temple Grandin designed working facility with hydraulic powered squeeze chute.
Tour groups in the past have included:
- Youth/school groups
- Community organizations such as 4-H and FFA
- Private/public businesses and faculty
- International groups
- State/Federal groups
Events:
ARDEC has a wide variety of conference rooms to meet the needs of any group. Programs held at ARDEC must be agricultural related.
Rooms have tables and chairs, telephones, white boards and podiums.
Our facilities range in a variety of sizes. 25% University Handling Fee will be added to the following rates:

To make a reservation or schedule a tour, please contact our Office Assistant at (970) 491-2405. When scheduling please specify the date, time, approximate group size and any special needs you might have.
Our office hours are from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
