JTC Faculty and Staff Show Homecoming Spirit
Outfitted in spiffy new "Liberal Arts Goes Green" T-shirts, JTC faculty and staff showed their school spirit by pedaling and walking in the 2007 Community Homecoming Family Weekend Parade on Oct. 6th.

With green face paint and decorated bicycles, the JTC group joined other members of the College of Liberal Arts and their families as they made their way along the route, showing concern for the environment while having some fun.
The thousands of spectators cheered as the group waved, shouted and passed out candy to children.
The enthusiastic effort paid off as the College of Liberal Arts’ entry captured first place in the "novelty" category in the campus organizations division.
Assistant Professor Joe Champ led the JTC contingent. Champ acted as a de-facto parade marshall, using his extensive parade observation and marching experiences to ensure that no gaps developed between the Liberal Arts participants and the exhaust fumes of the truck ahead.
College of Liberal Arts' parade coordinator Gloria Blumanhourst estimated that at least 50 riders and walkers represented the college. JTC participants included Pete Seel, P.J. Seel, Joe Champ, Maddy Champ, Jim Landers, Sarah Falcon, James Falcon, Donna Rouner, Rebecca Allen, Greg Allen, Chris Bartholomew, Betsy Hill, Kris Kodrich (pictured), Kalia Kodrich Saavedra and Bianka Kodrich Saavedra.
