NO WATER RESTRICTIONS
Effective immediately, watering restrictions will be removed for all Little
Thompson Water District tap holders. This change in restrictions is possible
due to a recent increase in C-BT quota by the Northern Colorado Water Conservancy
District and the great effort by our tap holders to conserve water.
All water usage will be left to your discretion including day, time and application. However, we are still recommending "Voluntary Water Conservation" as we continue to recover from the drought. Withholding from turf watering between 10am and 6pm is a great way to help conserve our valued water resource.
Little Thompson Water District will evaluate the water position every month and will modify the restrictions as needed if water consumption exceeds availability.
Little Thompson Water District service area is generally bounded by the City of Loveland on the north, Longs Peak Water District on the south, the city of Greeley, the South Platte River and the St. Vrain River on the east, and the foothills on the west. It expanded to include the former Arkins Water Association in 1999 and the Town of Mead in 2002.
