Fleet vehicles may be washed with high-efficiency power washing equipment or at a car wash certified by Denver Water.

Commercial car washes are subject to a certification program that will require implementation of industry best management practices or achievement of a 30% water savings as compared to a non-recycling car wash. Any commercial car wash that is not certified or in the process of becoming certified, is violating water restrictions.

Commercial power washing as an essential element of a business is not subject to day-of-week or time-of-day restrictions. However, such washing must be done with high-efficiency equipment and must not result in water waste
