Definitions of Tuition and Fee Assessment

Base Tuition Per credit hour amount charged all students. There is a different rate for residents, non-residents, and Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) students.
COF Stipend Beginning with Fall 2005, undergraduate Colorado resident students are eligible to receive a College Opportunity Fund (COF) stipend from the State of Colorado to apply toward tuition costs. To receive the COF stipend students must apply for the stipend at https://cofweb.cslp.org/cofapp/ AND authorize CSU to request the funds EACH semester via RAMweb (Go to RamPoint and select RAMweb). Base Tuition
Amount of tuition for which an undergraduate Colorado resident student is responsible, after the College Opportunity Fund (COF) stipend is credited to the student account. General Fees Fees to support general student services on campus. See the General Fees Chart.
University Technology
Fee
$15 fee to support university-wide technology needs for students.
University Facilities Fee $10 per credit hour fee to support the construction and maintenance of campus buildings.
Student's Share of Base Tuition and Fees The amount of tuition and fees for which an undergraduate student is responsible. (For an undergraduate Colorado resident student, this is after the COF stipend is credited to the student account.) This does NOT include any Supplemental Tuition, Charges for Technology or special course fees.
Supplemental Tuition A per credit hour charge assessed to undergraduate students enrolled in upper division courses and/or courses in certain high cost or high demand program areas. Assessment is based on the course prefix or course level. It is NOT based on a student's major. See the Supplemental Tuition Chart.
Charges for Technology Charge assessed students in individual colleges to support college technology needs for students. See the Charges for Technology Chart.
