The IOOB conference presents students with an opportunity to present papers, build their resumes, hear from noted professionals in the field, and network with professionals and other students for future I/O endeavors. The IOOB conference accepts research proposals for presentations that are not quite complete and this gives the students a chance to present their research before finalizing their work, and potentially lead to future collaborations. This is an excellent opportunity for students to sharpen their presentation and interpersonal skills for future conferences.
