Research and selected papers:
Hoffert is the Dean Emeritus of the College of Liberal Arts. He is currently serving as the Executive Director of the Colorado Partnership for Educational Renewal. His scholarly interests have centered broadly on democratic political theory with focused attention to Anglo-American liberalism and the political philosophy of the American political founding. He is the author of A Politics of Tensions. His more recent, briefer writings are available on his blog: hoffingandpuffing.com. He enjoys film, traveling, hiking, gardening, cooking, reading, sharing time with friends, and anticipating the day he’ll become a grandfather.
