GRADUATE PROGRAM ADMISSIONS

Requirements

In addition to the Admissions Requirements and Procedures described in the Graduate and Professional Bulletin, the Department of Philosophy requires that the following materials be sent to the Department:

1) A written statement of purpose describing the factors that led the applicant to consider graduate study in philosophy and to consider Colorado State University for graduate study.

2) A writing sample exhibiting the applicants writing abilities in philosophy.

3) GRE scores. The Department may waive this requirement under unusual circumstances or for Track II and III admissions.

4) Three letters of recommendation.

5) An undergraduate cumulative GPA of 3.25. The Department may waive this requirement under unusual circumstances or for Track II and III admissions.

6) Applicant's interested in being considered for financial aid must submit their GRE scores.

7) Two official transcripts.
