Interests: Chris's interests center around Environmental Ethics and its practical applications in social justice, but he also has interests in literature as it relates to philosophy (work on Milan Kundera) as well as Buddhist and Eastern philosophy traditions and the work of Soren Kierkegaard. Chris hopes to study how literature has impacted our understanding of the natural world, how it has furthered a common environmental ethic and what the practical applications of that ethic are in our current critical environmental situation.
