Dr. McGrew is the College Key Adviser and, as such, is
responsible for academic and pre-professional advising in the College
Office.
Dr. McGrew is the faculty sponsor for CNS Student Council. The council
represents the students of the College through their clubs and organizations.
The Dean and the department heads and chairs depend on the Council for input
regarding College policies and plans. The Council also determines purchases
to be made from charges for technology.
Dr. McGrew serves as liaison to the Student Affairs Division of
Colorado State. He represents the College to the Office of Admissions, the
Office of Housing and Food Service, and the HELP/Success Center. He serves
as the College representative to Preview, our summer orientation and
registration program for incoming freshmen.
Dr. McGrew is involved with all student-related activities. He
reads the names of all CNS graduates at the fall and spring commencement
ceremonies, he participates in the Scholarship and Recognition Awards Program each year in October, and grills a
fairly decent hamburger when called upon to do so!
