The ODS (Operational Data Store) is scheduled to replace the Delphi Data Warehouse in 2009. It provides data that can be used by departments to create custom reports.

Access

An access form is required from anyone needing access to HR ODS – Delphi access will not carry over to ODS.  Your ODS username and password will be emailed to you by Information Systems.

Please email ODS password reset requests to Mike Taylor.

Data Dictionaries

The data dictionaries hosted by Information Systems provide a description for each view and column within the views.

Connection Information

ODS data can be accessed via a number of applications (Discoverer, Access, SQLDeveloper, etc.).  Please contact your LAN manager for the software used in your organization.

Service Accounts

If the existing views do not provide the data needed to continue operations currently provided via Delphi, please email the name of your current view plus the fields unavailable in ODS to hrs_data_systems@mail.colostate.edu.

Oracle Discoverer

Oracle Discoverer is a tool that can be used to create reports and downloadable files. Information Systems has collected resources for Discoverer users on the Discoverer Home Page.

User Group

A Discoverer user group is forming for the purpose of helping users share information regarding both Discoverer and ODS. More information is on the Discoverer Home Page under "Discoverer Support".
