Irmgard E. Hunt

Irmgard Hunt teaches German literature of all ages and specializes in 20th century and contemporary writing. She has published seven books: three scholarly studies, four volumes of creative writing, and (with R. Grimm) a bilingual edition/translation of 20th century German poetry. She is president of the Society for Contemporary American Literature in German and edits, with Jolyon T. Hughes, the bi-annual literary journal TRANS-LIT2. Irmgard Hunt is an elected member of PEN (PEN-Zentrum deutschsprachiger Autoren im Ausland).
