Over the past two years, a major project has been made to transfer
all Extension publications produced at Colorado State to CD-ROM.
The third version of this project was issued April 9. This
includes approximately 600 "Service-in-Action" sheets on a variety
of subjects, the newer 4-H materials, nutrition news columns - and
a lot of entomology materials.
Some 300 color pictures of insects are in the current version, most
associated with the publication Insects that Feed on Colorado
Trees. The next edition of this CD-ROM will include color
illustrations of household insects, biological control species,
butterfly gardening illustrations, and vegetable insects.
Price for non-profit organizations: $55 (current version plus the next upgrade is $75)

Landscape Pest Management Series
This is a set of nine taped lectures on various subjects related to
management of insects, diseases and weeds on turfgrass and woody
plants. Subjects include reviews of specific pest problems and
their management, recognition of biological controls, and a review
of insecticide classes. Individual tapes run from about 40 minutes
to approximately one and one-half hours.

Vegetable Garden IPMs
This tape outlines IPM principles and practices as it relates to
vegetable gardens in the Rocky Mountain region. Time 17:10.

A discussion of how various management practices can be used to

butterfly garden, with a review of the different life stages of
some species that are common to Colorado yards and gardens. Comes

pest problems in vegetable gardens. Subject matter parallels much

Insects that Feed on Colorado Trees and Shrubs
A 197 page book on the biology and management of insects and mites associated with shade trees and shrubs in Colorado and surrounding states. Illustrated with over 220 pictures and contains diagnostic keys.

Insects Associated with Homes in the Rocky Mountain States
A tri-state (Colorado, Wyoming, Montana) that discusses insects
associated with homes in the region. Habits of the insects as well
as management recommendations are included. Illustrated with black

Yard and Garden Pest Management Calendars
Calendars outlining the approximate occurrence of various pest problems and/or management opportunities associated with yards and gardens.
