Undergraduate Study
Registering for Courses
Advisors will have sign-up sheets taped to their office doors
when pre-registration advising week arrives. Information about
courses is available from a variety of sources:
- The Class Schedule explains the registration
procedures and lists all courses offered the next term.
- A complete listing of regularly offered courses
is available on the Department Web site.
- RAMBLER, the English Department's newsletter,
is mailed to all English majors twice a year just before
pre-registration. This newsletter contains information about
advising, registration, composition placement exams, and
undergraduate and graduate courses not listed in the Class
Schedule or on the Web site. If you do not list a current
local mailing address at the University, it will be sent
to your parents' address, and you may NOT see it in time
for registration.
- Additional information may be obtained from
the professor teaching the course.
- The CSU General Catalog contains short descriptions
of all courses offered by the University (but not all courses
are offered every term).
For information about
course offerings and registration procedures for the upcoming semester
or summer session, please view the Rambler,
the Department's student newsletter.
This information
is not intended to replace your advisor or the information in the
CSU General Catalog, the Class Schedule, or the Department Checksheets.
