E632 Professional Concerns
This core course in the M.A. licensure concentration is designed for inservice and preservice teachers at secondary and postsecondary levels. Students in all concentrations are encouraged to consider how the course might meet their needs, also. Although the topics vary, the focus of the course is always on issues in teaching English language arts. Recent titles have included Theories of Teaching Literature, Censorship and Writing, and Pacesetter English. The course is taught as a seminar, with extensive reading, writing, and discussion.
