FACULTY AFFILIATES

On occasion a professor from another institution, usually an international one, will request Faculty Affiliate status. A one-year renewable appointment will be granted to persons whose academic and career achievements qualify them for advanced non-degree study or teaching at CSU. Teaching affiliates should provide expertise beyond that of regular faculty and work primarily with graduate students.

Faculty Affiliates will have access to the University Libraries and will be included in departmental events and activities, but by University stipulation they may not be paid.

Faculty Affiliates may expect to speak at the departmental colloquium and at a meeting of the undergraduate honorary society.
