Many of our faculty have won teaching and advising awards, and we pride ourselves on the high quality of our classroom instruction. Both undergraduate and graduate students interact frequently with their professors. We also do a great deal of scholarly research and publication. We offer fields in regional economics, political economy, international economics, economic development, econometrics, public finance, environmental economics. The Undergraduate and Graduate Handbooks, which you can access from this web site, describe the faculty, the courses, the requirements, and many of the other features of our Department. Please contact us if you have any questions. ANNOUNCEMENTS“Ms. Naranchimeg Mijid, Ph.D. student in economics, wins a prestigious $20,000 fellowship from the Kauffman Foundation!"
