Construction
On Saturday, April 2, 2005, a strip of land adjoining the future site of the amphitheather was prepared by Keith Lowdermilk, Lowdermilk Construction+, Grand Junction, CO.
Wood chips were spread and the area tilled. Nitrogen fertilizer was added to help breakdown the organic matter. This area will be planted with demonstration plots of cool and warm season grasses once the irrigation system is installed.
