Bob Chen, Advanced Master Gardener with the Tri River Area Extension office in Grand Junction, Colorado was presented with Colorado's Quality of Service award in Denver on October 20, 1995 by Dr. Dennis Lamm, CSU Extension Assistant Director for Agriculture & Natural Resources. Bob received this special recognition for his years of dedication with the Master Gardener Program whach has included serving on numerous committees and task forces involved with improving the horticultural knowledge of the Tri River Area Master Gardeners and citizens, workshop presentations, major involvement in the TRA Extension housecall program and coordinating/managing the TRA Horticulture program when the Area Horiculturist, Curtis E. Swift, Ph.D. was on a six month overseas assignment in Armenia during the summer of 1994.
