Emily graduated from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo in 2006 with a B.S. in Animal Science and a minor in Psychology. She attended graduate school at Utah State University and received her M.S. in Range Science in 2008. While at Cal Poly and USU she focused on range/pasture management, rangeland ecology, weed management, livestock topics including behavior, nutrition, reproduction, health, and management.

She is excited to help Pueblo County residents with pasture/range management, noxious weed issues, care of livestock, and to help residents meet their pasture/range management goals.
