Q: I try to conserve as much water as possible when I water my lawn. Are there local programs available to homeowners to assist them in these efforts?
A: The city of Fort Collins offers free sprinkler audits,
on a first-come first-served basis, from June through August. To qualify, you
must be a City of Fort Collins Utilities water customer and must be at home
to assist with the audit. The audits take about two hours. Call (970) 416-2666

In addition, Fort Collins offers the Residential Environmental Program Series.
These are free seminars available to the public to learn a variety of energy
