How You Can
Become a
Master Gardener
Volunteer!!
Between April and September,
new Master Gardeners volunteer 50 hours of time working with Larimer County
Extension identifying plant diseases, insects, answering gardening questions
and working on other projects such as the Farmers' Market, Larimer County
Fair, Home and Garden Shows, writing gardening articles for local and regional
newspapers, and presenting programs to community groups.
2013 Training dates and location:
Fridays, January 11 through March 29, 2013 (No Class - January 18)
Master Gardener Apprentice Orientation (Volunteers
Only)
Friday,
April 5, 2013 -- MANDATORY
All training will be from
9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Class fees:
$265.00 for those applying as a Larimer County Master Gardener Volunteer.
$625.00 for those taking the training for a Colorado Gardener Certificate
only -- no volunteer requirements.
Application Deadline:
The Colorado Master Gardener application deadline was Wednesday, October 24, 2012.
Individuals can still apply for the Colorado Gardener Certificate training (Fee: $625.00 -- no volunteer requirements) until Wednesday, November 28, 2012. Please print the application from the link below. Complete and mail along with your check to: Larimer County Extension
