Model Rocket Fly Day

Ready to Launch!

What: This contest gives 4-H members a chance to test out their flying skills and learn more about model rocket launching.

Who: Any 4-H member enrolled in the Model Rocket project.

When: Practice Fly Day - 3rd week in July (Larimer County Fairgrounds), County Fair Fly Day - July/August (Larimer County Fairgrounds), State Fair Fly Day - 2nd Saturday of Colorado State Fair (State Fairgrounds in Pueblo)

Awards: Special awards, ribbons, and premium money are awarded to the Champion and Reserve Champion in each division. Champions represent Larimer County at the State Fair Fly Day.

Entries: Members can sign up to compete in the contest by entering the Fly Day class on their Fair entry form.
