Livestock Record Book Contest |

Got Records? What: This contest is for members who want to improve their record keeping skills by having their books evaluated on the county level by qualified judges. 4-H livestock members are not required to participate in this contest to complete their 4-H year or project work. Eligible Projects: Alpacas, beef, cats, dogs, dairy cattle, goats, horse, poultry, rabbits, sheep, and swine Who: All 4-H members enrolled in the the aforementioned projects Entries: Members must submit their books to their club project or organizational leader before the designated club deadline. The leaders submit the books to the Extension Office for competition. Awards: Members will receive gold (excellent) and blue (good) seals depending on the final scores they receive. The Champion and Reserve Champion books in each age group and specie will be recognized at Achievement Night. |
