Livestock Bowl

Hit that Buzzer!

What: The Livestock Bowl Contest allows members to demonstrate their knowledge of livestock related matter relating to cattle, sheep, swine, and goats. Only two teams will compete at a time, with the first person to hit the buzzer answering the question asked.

Who: Senior 4-H members (ages 14-19) may compete. Four to five members are allowed on each team.

When: Third or forth week in June

Where: Colorado State 4-H Conference in Fort Collins, CO

Awards: The top five teams and ten individuals at the State Contest will be recognized. The top team will have the chance to compete at the national contest at the Ak-Sar-Ben Livestock Exposition, held in Omaha, NE in September.
