Cake Decorating |

What: This contest is an educational program designed for 4-H members to showcase the skills learned in the cake decorating project. Who: 4-H members enrolled in the project unit in which they are participating, except the Novelty class, which is open to all members, including Cloverbuds When: March or April, Champions are eligible to compete at the Colorado State Fair in August How: The contest is timed, with the length varying by unit. Contestants bring all supplies needed to decorate a cake fitting the requirements of exhibit of the unit in which they are entered. Judges observe contestants at work and evaluate completed cakes. Novelty class entries are brought to the contest ready to judge. Registration: All registration is done through the County Extension Office |
