E-Records
1) Record Books: 4-Hers showing livestock,
horse or pet/exotic projects are required to present a current (up-to-date)
record book at check in time. If the books aren't current, you will not be allowed
to show. This applies to: horse, beef, sheep, swine, dairy cattle, goats, poultry,
rabbits, dogs, cats and alpaca/llamas.
Your e-Record books (for these projects) cannot be completely finished since
you won’t have show or sale results, but all other project information
up until fair time should be recorded. To have your record books up to date,
the following information is required:
LIVESTOCK & HORSE
i) Completed: Cover Page, Personal and Project Goals, Project and Wholesome
Meat Acts Agreements, Performance Summary (beginning weight and date), and Beginning
Inventory. For Horse projects, the Horse ID Certificate must also be complete.
ii) Up to Date: Feed and Non Feed Expense Records, Animal Purchases, Feed Nutrient
and Ration information, Feed Change and Health Records, and Project Information
and Activity Log.
PET/EXOTIC
i) Completed: Cover Page, Personal and Project Goals, Project Agreement and
Pet Animal Project Humane Treatment Policy, General and Project Animal Information,
Feeding Record, Beginning Supplies & Equipment
ii) Up to Date: Health Record, Ending Supplies & Equipment, Expense Record,
and Activity Description and Learning page. For Dog projects, the Dog Supplement
must also be up to date.
2) Please refer to the Premium Book online at www.larimercountyfair.org for
ALL information regarding exhibiting your project animal(s) at the Fair. Exhibitor
General Rules and Regulations (begin on page 1); Livestock Division Rules (begin
on page 2); Health Regulations are listed on pages 5 and 6. You are responsible
for becoming familiar with and abiding by all rules and regulations in the Premium
Book.
