  • What is the eventual size of the plant?

  • Is it trashy or messy?

  • Does it have Flowers, fruit, or foliage?

  • What is it's pollution tolerance?

  • Does it fit into your landscape?

  • What is the desired growth rate?

  • What Kind of Exposure to the elements will it have?

  • What kind of color shape & shade qualities does it possess?

  • Are there any local specific susceptibilities such as:

    • insects

    • disease

    • storm damage

    • soil conditions
