How
to become a 4-H Cloverbud
Youth who are five through seven years of age on or before December
31, 2007, may enroll in 4-H as a Cloverbud.
Step
One
The
first step in becoming a 4-H Cloverbud is to choose a club that is
right for you .Contact a local 4-H Club Leader to see if there is
room in an existing club near you. If not, several young people with
an adult or two to help them may start a new club.

Two
Many
clubs offer Cloverbud activities, ask your club leader what activities
they have planned for the upcoming 4-H enrollment year. Leaders have materials that are
available through State 4-H office, the material can be used in
a manner which best suits their club setting. Leaders may also choose
other material available through the Adams County Extension
agent. Parents may also use following Cloverbud materials that are
offered through the Adams County Extension Office, they are available
for free download.

Three
Enrolling
your child with the 4-H Office in Adams County completes the membership
process. The 4-H program is offered at a very nominal annual fee ($22/member)
by Colorado State University Extension in Adams County.
Enrollments for new members are due by May 1, 2008. Existing Members
must turn in enrollments by February 1st.

Have
Fun! The mission of 4-H is to help children grow into healthy, productive,
successful adults. This mission is accomplished through involvement
of parents, volunteer leaders, and other adults who organize and conduct
fun educational experiences in community and family settings.
