Meet Your Agent: Amy Star

Amy Star is one of the 4-H Livestock Agents. Her responsibilities include Horse and Small Animal projects. Amy has a Bachelors Degree in Equine Science and a Masters Degree in Agriculture from Colorado State University. Amy has worked in Adams County since 1998. She has extensive experience in training horses and riders in several disciplines on the national and international level.

As well as county 4-H programming, Amy contributes to the Colorado Horse Council, American Youth Horse Council, Colorado State 4-H Livestock Task Force, Rocky Mountain Iberian Horse Club and the Colorado State 4-H Horse Committee. Amy strives to offer programs that members want to participate in and that have hands-on elements.
