New Master Gardener is Xeriscape Award Finalist!

Grace Stahlschmidt's garden now displays a ceramic plaque honoring it as one of seven finalists in the Denver Beautiful Xeriscape Contest.  Grace submitted photographs after receiving a note from Denver Water encouraging her to enter.  The judges liked what they saw when they inspected it in June.

The Stahlschmidt garden is xeriscaped in front and back :

Trees, shrubs and groundcovers are among the backyard features.

Mahonia, various penstemons and several different sedum are some of the plants in the front garden.
