Little Leaf Mountain Mahogany (Cercocarpus intricatus)

Little Leaf Mountain Mahogany (Cercocarpus intricatus) (18513 bytes) Little Leaf Mountain Mahogany (Cercocarpus intricatus) is a medium sized xeric shrub (center of picture), native to Colorado. It has erect branches, and is hardy to zone 3. Likes full sun and well-drained soil, and has low water needs once established. Very drought tolerant.
