Leadplant (Amorpha canescens )
Amorpha canescens – Leadplant – (Fabaceae – legumes include Lupinus, Thermopsis). Gray-green, fern-like leaves with protruding violet-blue flower spears that turn to grey and persist through winter. Eastern plains native, xeric.
