Be on the look out for woolly aphids on spruce trees; if you have them, ask for CSU Fact sheet 5.534.

If you have had damage to small pine trees, or if you see caterpillars on them, you may have pine tip moth. Check CSU Fact sheet 5.529.

If you noticed fire blight damage in March, it may be time to use a streptomycin spray. Start to spray when the trees are starting to bloom, if the temperature is 65 degrees or more and if there has been a trace of rain or high humidity. Repeat at seven-day intervals while the trees are blooming. CSU Fact sheet 2.907.
