Tuition and Fees

Tuition is paid for students who are supported on fellowships and graduate teaching or research assistantships. Tuition in 2006-2007 for Colorado residents registered full-time is $2,124 per semester; tuition for nonresident is $7,821 per semester. Students are responsible for University fees. General fees are $460 per semester. Plus a University Facility fee of $10/per credit and an additional $15.00 technology fee.

Living and Housing Costs

University housing for single or married graduate students is available in a wide variety of apartments starting at $578 per month for a 1-bedroom furnished apartment. More information about University housing may be found at the Apartment Life Web Site.

Graduate Assistantships

Graduate teaching assistantships and Cancer Biology Fellowships are available for entering students in the CMB program on a competitive basis. Current stipends for teaching assistantships are $1534 per month. Students in their second year and beyond are usually supported as graduate research assistants. Graduate Assistants do not earn vacation time. The general CMB Program leave policy is two weeks per year for all Graduate Assistants, subject to approval of their advisor.

Colorado Fellowships

Colorado Fellowships are awarded to students with superior academic records. These funds provide additional support to cover relocation costs and or student fees.
