While marking chromosomes, it is possible to inadvertently mark a segment, point, or centromere in the wrong place. The Undo Segment command (accessible also by using the Delete or Backspace keys) allows users to correct such mistakes. The figure below illustrates how mistakes may be corrected. Click on the Forward or Back arrows to view each step.
Segments may be undone at any time on the current chromosome until the end of the chromosome has been marked (either by double-clicking or by selecting Chromosome | Finish). Once the end of a chromosome has been marked, it must be completely remarked in order to correct any mistakes. See Chromosome | Restart Chromosome Number... for more information.
