Department Requirements |

Twelve credits are to be taken from the courses listed
below or from graduate level studio courses in
the same areas, but these credits should not ordinarily
be in the area of specialization or thesis. Work
may be in one elected area or in several. Academic
electives in art might be taken in lieu of studio
courses.
Graduate
students may register for 300 or 400 level courses at
a graduate (500) level, after consulting with the instructor
to ascertain the additional requirements expected for 500-level
work. These classes may have prerequisite conditions. This
policy does not apply to any classes which have been required
to make up undergraduate deficiencies.
