Charges for Technology

Information Page

Over ten years ago, students from the College of Agricultural Sciences and all the other colleges at the university elected to charge themselves a fee to provide for the tools to learn leading edge skills in their respective fields. The intent of the fee is to spend it in areas where it does the most good for the general population. The fees are administered under the direction of the Dean of the College by the Coordinator, Center for Information Technology. Students meet throughout the year, in accordance with the university manual and college by-laws.

Student membership is: One student per academic major, undergraduate. One student per department - graduate. Everyone (students, staff and faculty) is welcome to a committee meeting, however, only members may vote. Students are encouraged to contact their representative with ideas to improve technology in the college.
