AIR FORCE ROTC DETACTMENT 90

Major Benny A. Landfair II is the Assistant Operations Officer of Detachment 90 and an Assistant Professor of Aerospace Studies at Colorado State University, Fort Collins, CO, and the University of Northern Colorado, Greeley, CO.  He is responsible for the education and training of 200 AFROTC cadets and the support of Air Force Institute of Technology graduate students attending CSU.

A career Security Forces Officer, Major Landfair has been a unit commander, inspector general (IG), and Iraqi IG mentor, and cyber security expert. His operational experience spans four MAJCOMS and three Forward Operating Agencies.

Major Landfair was commissioned in 1992 through the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps at New Mexico State University where he also earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in criminal justice.
