Adviser assignments are listed on RamWeb under “My Adviser” and outside Clark C-227.
Can I change advisers?
Yes you may request a different adviser. Please contact someone in the department for assistance.
How do I get an override into a JTC course?
Overrides are given on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the course instructor. To request an override contact the course instructor.
How can I get my advising code?
You are required to meet with your adviser before registration begins for the upcoming semester. The JTC department designates two weeks each semester for advising which begins one week before registration. Sign up sheets are posted on faculty office doors in advance and email reminders are sent as registration nears.
Does the department have open computer labs?
Yes, Technical Journalism majors have access to a general computer lab in Clark C-254 and a video editing Mac lab in Clark C-235. Schedules are posted outside the rooms. Other rules here…
