Eat Well For Less Classes

Eat Well for Less classes are designed to be used with diverse and limited-resource audiences. We teach a six-lesson core curriculum customized to meet your needs.

Topics include:

    • Personalizing the Food Guide Pyramid

    • Understanding the impact of nutrients on one’s health

    • Identifying basic food safety techniques

    • Budgeting wisely and menu planning

The goals of each lesson is two-fold: 1) to raise participant awareness about the importance of eating well on a limited income and 2) provide tools for positive change in eating, shopping and food preparation behaviors.
