In
1992, Vic and Margaret Ball established an internship with a major
gift to the American Floral Endowment. Their desire was to attract
students to Floriculture by making a meaningful work experience
in "production" part of their education.
Mosmiller
Scholar Program
In
1975, Colonel and Mrs. Walter E. Mosmiller, Jr., provided the major
gift to establish a professional training program for selected,
motivated floriculture and environmental horticulture students interested
in a career as a retail florists, wholesaler or a career with an
allied trade company.
