Spanish gold is a rounded, dense subalpine shrub from the mountains of Spain. It is hardy to zone 4a and up to 8,000 feet. This plant tolerates a wide range of soil (loam, clay loam or grvelly) and moisture conditions. Prefers full sun to partial shade. It will grow to 4 feet in height and 6 feet in spread.
