William J. & Jean S. Griswold Scholarship
$1000 scholarship awarded to Colorado State University students (undergraduate, graduate, and international students) enrolled full-time for the 2007-2008 academic year. Scholarship applies to the 2007-2008 academic year at Colorado State University. Scholarship is awarded based on extent and depth of contribution to the greater Colorado State University community. All students with one year or more of study at Colorado State Univeristy, including Sophomores, Juniors, and international students are encouraged to apply.
Criteria: Maintain a cumulative 3.0 GPA while at Colorado State University. Demonstrated academic involvement in foreign languages AND history courses at CSU. Demonstrated involvement in international activities/leadership AT Colorado State University.

History
Department Undergraduate Award
Established to honor the memory of History faculty members, this
award is made possible by contributions from alumni, friends, and
family.
Criteria: Two awards are restricted to junior and
senior History majors and are based on GPA. One award is given to
a History major for campus-wide or community service.
Application: Applications are not solicited from
students. Awards will be granted on faculty nominations.
History Department Graduate Award*
Established in 1995 this endowed scholarship was made possible with donations from alumni and friends of the History Department.
Criteria: Student must be admitted to the History Department’s graduate program.

Mark
Anthony Klein Memorial Award
Established in 1994 to honor the memory of Mark A. Klein, this award
is made possible by contributions from friends and the Klein family.
Criteria: Student must be a junior or senior in
History with at minimum 3.3 GPA and demonstrate an intellectual
commitment to historical study and to community, environmental,
and/or outdoor activities.

Harry
Rosenberg Scholarship*
Established in 1997 by the E. Michael Rosser family, this award
is presented to an undergraduate or graduate student in the Department
of History.
Criteria: Applicant must be in good academic standing,
demonstrate evidence of on-campus and off-campus activities, major
in History, particularly in the fields of western American history,
historic preservation, and public history, and show evidence of
financial need.

Samuel
N. and Mary Castle Memorial Scholarship
Established in 1996 by the Samuel N. and Mary Castle Foundation, the purpose
of this scholarship is to recruit students from Hawaii majoring in History or
Human Development and Family Studies.
Criteria: Applicant must be a student from Hawaii,
majoring in History or Human Development and Family Studies, and
maintain or enter Colorado State with a 3.0 GPA.
